Self-Portrait

In case you were wondering, this is what I look like.
One of the colleges I'm applying to requires a 8.5" x 11" pencil/charcoal (I chose pencil because me and charcoal are not bffs) self portrait, drawn from mirror observation. I actually like how this turned out!

Rainbows and Markers
I am into markers right now. Here I am fooling around with bright colors and shading. More origami and a guitar capo that was on my desk...
I've been sketching with markers too. Violins!
High fantasy is my secret artistic love.

COMICS

Here are two pages of comics I created for an art project. I'm trying out some new characters that I want to make comics about.
If anyone's interested, I could post the pre-sketches (thumbnails and environment map/design), but for now I'll just post the final piece.

Ocarina of Time is a pretty good video game

I actually am not the hugest fan of doing art digitally. I know it's cleaner and faster, there is an undo button, digital art looks better on the internet, etc., but it's just so tedious at times.
Anyway, I finally got around to playing some old Zelda games. I'm enjoying 'Ocarina of Time' quite a bit.

IT IS MY BIRTHDAY
Poster for my German video project. Yes, those are our costumes. Yes, that blonde kid is on there twice. Yes, that is a nerf gun.
HESTER SHAW AND THAT IS ALL
This is a birthday card I painted for my friend William. It has been a few months since I last watched Avatar, and I'm only 60% sure Toph is his favorite character. I love her puffball crown, though.
Goth Sam and Hipster Sam from the Alternate Universes!I will edit this post and talk about these pictures later
Edit: Okay I did that

Lizard Men and Vampires

This piece was inspired by early-mid 20th century pulp science fiction illustrations and a book about a book about a woman having an affair with a pulp science fiction writer in (I think) the 1940's. I also felt like painting Sam and Laurel. I haven't painted them in awhile.
